Elena Armellini
Born in Venice in 1982, she graduated in Scenography from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. During her studies, she gained international experience, including a residency in Vienna as a grantee of the European Leonardo Mobility Program, working with Art for Art, a company specializing in theatrical set design.
Her works have been exhibited across Italy and abroad, including Re: Public at the Tese dell’Arsenale (Venice), Generazioni 2 in Cordovado (Pordenone), Nacht und Nebel at the Alte Kindl Brauerei (Berlin), and Viaggio a Nord Est 2in Lendava, Slovenia.
In 2016, her work Dindarolo was featured at the XXI Triennale di Milano, in the exhibition W. Women in Italian Design, curated by Silvana Annicchiarico with exhibition design by Margherita Palli.
Since 2017, she has been a professor of Decoration in the Department of Visual Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice.
Since 2009, she has lived and worked between Venice and Berlin.
